The Szegedy-Róza House is a building constructed in 1790 in the peasant Baroque style and now serves as a museum. It preserves the remarkable fireplace where the poet wrote his stories. This connects the house’s architectural history with a specific literary landmark. The Church of Saint Imre also makes its own architectural statement: this Roman Catholic church with two towers was built in 1931–1932 to plans by Fábián Gáspár and is considered the only church in Central Europe built of basalt.
